Vespa Club History

Vespa Club members get together around ESSO petrol pump before taking off.

The third building is dedicated to the history of the Vespa Club in The Netherlands and abroad.

It was opened in 1995 by Ms Riet Moerman, first secretary and mr. Sef Janssen last president of the Vespa Club Holland (1951-1972). It is the first "mini museum" dedicated to the Vespa Clubs in the 50's and 60's.

Memorabilia of the Vespa Club Holland (1951-1972)

In this hall you will find all the memorabilia of a glorious past: club banners, rally badges, posters, magazines, prices and an Esso petrol pump with scooters and models in their 50's outfit

The Vespa Club Holland started in 1951 and had a maximum of 2500 members in 1961. Around 1970 only 175 members remained.
